Emergency situations
If a dog is seriously ill, injured, having neurological signs, struggling to breathe, or may have eaten a toxic substance, contact a veterinarian or animal poison service promptly.

The medication converter only performs arithmetic on a dose supplied by a veterinarian. It does not recommend a drug, mg/kg dose, frequency or treatment duration.
Nutrition
Calorie and portion estimates are starting points. Medical diets, growth, pregnancy, lactation and chronic disease may require individualized veterinary nutrition guidance.
